Robotis DREAM II School Set
Warning: The Dream II School Set contains Dream II Level 2, Dream II Level 3 kits and can be purchased and used as a standalone kit!
Warning: In Dream II School Set; Dream II Level 2,3 workbooks are included!
Warning: Dream II School Set is designed to skip Dream II Level 1 and start directly with Dream II Level 2,3.
Robotis DREAM II School Kit is a kit created by combining 24 different lessons and robot configurations selected from DREAM II kits. The product includes its own assembly manual (PDF format). In this manual, the construction of 24 robots is given in detail. These 24 projects can be viewed with the free R+Design app available for download on iOS and Google Play Store. The R+Design app is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS machines.
Robotis DREAM II School Kit contains 24 lesson plans. With the school kit, students can learn the basic elements of robotics, the scientific foundations of robotic movement, and the techniques and principles of robotics. Lessons focusing on the basic components of robotics include the use of IR (infrared) sensors, microphones and batteries. Mechanical engineering principles such as principles of velocity, elastic force, inertia, acceleration and four-wheeled locomotion are scientific topics that will also be covered in the lessons included in the kit. Some Essential Items in the School Kit
o CM-150 main controller: The CM-150 has a buzzer, microphone and 3 IR sensors embedded in it. It is the unit that creates some detections and stimuli in the interaction of your robots with the outside world.
o RC-100B: RC-100B functions as a remote control and receiver circuit.
o IR sensor:
o Geared and servo motor: These are the elements that enable robots to make the necessary movement and power generation. Some robots use more than one.
o Rivets modular plates: They are available in different colors and sizes in the kit. The rivet system is internationally patented. The rivet system that connects the plates is more practical and safer than using nuts and can be attached to the plates from both sides.
o Battery: 3.7 Volt, 1300 mAh lithium-ion battery. It allows the robots to perform the prescribed function for a long time!
o Robot black strip for wheel and line tracking
In addition to the basic parts above, different numbers of rivets, plate angles and gear wheels are available in the package.Above; the featured parts in the set are shown - the remaining rivets and plates are not shown!
The School Kit has no electrical equipment in direct contact with the user and there is no need for soldering processes that can be dangerous for little ones. This way little inventors can work safely!

How are the topics covered in the ROBOTIS DREAM II School Set BOOK?
- Learning Principles: In this section, information is given about the scientific subject to be covered in the section. The basics and short history of the subject are tried to be shown to the relevant audience with multiple choice questions and simple examples.
- Building the Robot: This section shows step by step how to assemble each part, the order of assembly and its relationship with other parts.
- Moving the Robot: After the physical assembly of the robot is finished, the way the robot works is explained, the flow chart is shown in a simple and simple way. Tables showing the motion characteristics of the robot are also available in this section.
- Problem Solving: A specially designed problem is solved to test the understanding of the scientific principle of the robot described in the chapter.
- Realizing Your Own Modified Robot: This is the part where you create your unique robot by making some changes on the robot. The necessary steps are also given in detail here.
