Robotis Bioloid STEM I [Standard] Robot Education Kit
Introducing children to robotics for education based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) principles is the right way to go, but putting together the right software, hardware and curriculum can be daunting. This is where Robotis' Bioloid STEM Standard Robot Education Kit comes to the fore! Bioloid STEM Standard Robot Education Kit is a project and coding kit that is sufficient in every aspect for a holistic learning experience. Parts can be easily disassembled and assembled. Recommended for high school and equivalent schools.
Bioloid STEM Standard has modular hardware; it includes parts for building 7 different concept robots. These robots are easily programmed with the CM-530 Robotis controller. RoboPlus software is used to upload pre-programmed behaviors to your robots, moreover, you can code your own behaviors and upload them to the robot (See: Video below).
What distinguishes this set from other training sets is the curriculum guide. This guide is not just a simple assembly kit, it is a comprehensive guide that covers 21 weeks and consists of 2 workbooks. The STEM kit divides each unit into three phases: Foundation Phase, Application Phase and Practicalization Phase.
o The Foundation Phase will introduce students to different robots and robotic features to understand analogies, pictures and examples. The Foundation Phase will end with students putting the robot together with a clear assembly guide.
o The Application Phase will introduce students to programming by explaining step-by-step pre-written programming examples. This phase will also explain the math that goes into robot programming.
o The Practical Phase will give students a chance to solve programming problems on their own and learn about advanced robotics concepts. At the end of each chapter, students will have a fully functional robot that runs the custom code they wrote!Robotis STEM Standard Kit Robot Models
