Actuonix L12-100-210-12-I Miniature Linear Rod Actuator, Control: On-Board Microcontroller ( -I ), 12V, 100mm Strok, 210:1
Actuonix L12 linear actuator family is divided into four types based on the control method: limit switched (-S), position feedback via potentiometer (-P), on-board microcontroller (-I) and standard hobby type RC servo motor interface (-R). Actuonix L12-I Series linear actuators are linear actuators controlled by an on-board non-programmable microcontroller and can be utilized in 4 different modes based on the signal on its connector. L12-I series have the following essential variations;
o There are 3 different stroke options: 30mm, 50mm and 100mm ( 10mm is NOT Available! )
o There are 3 different peak push-pull force for different loads such as: 22N , 42N ve 80N
o For the force mentioned above the no-load speeda are: 25mm/s, 13mm/s, 6.5mm/s
o And 2 separate supply options: 6V & 12V
which means 18 different actuators in the L12-I series!!!The L12-I series products have a built-in, software-based microcontroller. This microcontroller is not programmable and controls the actuator in the appropriate mode depending on which of the connector terminals is active at the moment of energization, these modes are;
RC servo mode : The desired actuator position is input to the actuator as a positive 5V pulse signal from terminal 4 (no.). A 1.0 ms pulse commands the controller to fully retract the actuator. Pulse signals of 2.0 ms command full extension. 0–5V interface mode : This mode allows the actuator to be signaled and controlled to the desired position using only a battery and potentiometer. 4–20mA interface mode : This mode is typically compatible with PLC devices used in industrial control applications. The desired actuator position (setpoint) is input at terminal 1 (no.) as a current between 4mA and 20 mA. PWM mode : In PWM mode, the actuator is controlled using a single digital output pin from the external microcontroller.
Other features of Actuonix L12-100-210-12-I linear servo actuator
i) The actuator adjusts its position according to the desired operating mode. No LAC card is required to control Actuonix L12-I series products! In Actuonix L12-I products, low reduction ratios mean high speed but at the same time low force.
ii) L12-I series products consist of an anodized aluminium shaft, metal gearbox, brass screws and ball bearings made of steel.
iii) Each L12-I series linear servo motor is shipped with a mounting hardware kit consisting of clamps, brackets, nuts, rod ends, screws, etc.!Actuator Types in L12-I Series
